This Unusual Cafe In Japan Will Make You Feel Like You Stepped Into A Cartoon( 18 Pics)

Recently, we presented to you two rare pop-up art neighbourhoods that speedily caught everyone’s attention. You predicted right! The first one is definitely an insta-worthy cafe in Seoul plastered with comic strips all over the interiors called Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239 -2 0 which is actually the address of the coffeehouse. Located in the famous Yeonnam-dong district, the cafe opened its doorways on July 2017 and instant became world-famous. As for the other one, well … It’s a bit romantic! It’s a pop-up chapel in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas which opened on 18 th January this year. The chapel announced “Til Death Do Us Part” is ideal for insta-worthy bridals, devote reclamations, photoshoots, and especially for comic geek pairs! But if these two residences weren’t enough for you, this time, we present to you a brand-new pop-up coffee shop in the heart of Tokyo, Japan.

Located in Shin Okubo district, the brand-new pop-up coffee shop is called “2D Cafe”. Everything about it constructs you feel like you’re in a comic book: starting from the entrance that has a retro feeling in it to well-decorated monochrome decor with white-hot storeys, walls, furniture, and other little detail. Therefore, when you tell a trendy bubble tea( now, you can actually find it from all corners in Japan) or a yummy dessert, the whole thing examines surreal and vivid as your eyes trick you into thinking whether it’s real.

The fun fact is that the furniture is not all monochrome as it’s actually two-tone. All flat skin-deeps are white while the leading edge have soft, uneven black stripes just like sketch strands. However, for some things, there’s no deception at all. For example, curtains and blooms are indeed flat-plane artwork.

When it comes to food and sucks, the colourings seem to really pop. The coffeehouse offers a broad range of bubble teas – you can choose between pineapple, blueberry, tomato and mango flavors- likewise patbingsu Korean-style scraped sparkler desserts which come in seven different flavors- strawberry, banana azuki and more. Hence, tourists are welcome not only to admire the unusual interior design but too savor some yummy new flavors.

Everyone knows how obsessed Japanese beings are with comics and other animated things that bring you to another reality. Hence, considering this fact, this cafe should be one of the most called cafes in Tokyo as it obligates the real, three-dimensional world that we live in look like a flat illustration from a comic book. Let’s admit that we all would love to visit this two-dimensional world!
